Louis C.K. Is My Secret Lover Man
I can't keep it a secret any longer.
The cat's out of the bag.
Rumors have been flying and yes, they are true.
Louis C.K. is my secret lover man.
Why?
Because his comedy makes me laugh and cry -- usually at the same time -- and, in spite of his fame and fortune, he manages to make me feel like he's just an average guy, a working class stiff, as imperfect as I am (maybe moreso) and he gives me hope and happiness and makes me realize that being a loser (sometimes) is not so bad and being embarrassed and doing stupid things is really, really not so bad, after all.
And he makes me laugh and laugh and laugh. Really hard.
Besides doing stand-up comedy and HBO specials and talk shows and winning fancy awards and blah blah blah, he writes, stars in and directs "Louie," his own FX series, and he manages to fearlessly let his guard down and expose his fuck-ups and his tears and his flabby belly and his vulnerabilities, and he shares his sometimes spot-on insight into human nature and shows us what makes the world go 'round.
I love his humor and sometimes when nothing seems funny and the world is filled with just a little too much sadness, his videos give me a sense of direction and let me see a little light at the end of tunnel and make me feel better and laugh despite not always wanting to.
Thanks, Louie!
