More Dismay In Steubenville

Steubenville High Rapists Fair Trial

This disturbing photograph is but one snippet of what was posted on various social media outlets regarding the rape of the 16-year-old girl who had the misfortune of crossing paths with the Steubenville High School football players who raped her. Now found guilty of rape, the two teen boys cried in court, but their emotional displays only came after the guilty verdicts were handed down and they realized that they will be punished. Their tears seem to be for themselves rather than for the plight of their victim. They are sorry that they were caught and now they are very sorry that they must register as sex offenders and serve time in juvenile prison for their vulgar acts.

I'll leave the job of rapist-sympathizing to Candy Crowley, Poppy Harlow, and Paul Callan whose CNN report seems to sympathize with the rapists rather than the victim. I've already signed a SignOn.Org petition and will wait for CNN's apology for their passionate sympathy for teen rapists. Here's a video of the CNN report so everyone can judge it for themselves:

As if this case has not been disturbing enough, two teen girls have now been arrested for allegedly making threats against the Steubenville rape victim. Here are the alleged threats, according to Jefferson County Sheriff Fred Abdalla:

"'You made my cousin cry, so when I see you b****, it's going to be a homicide,'" Abdalla read the first threat.
"'I'll celebrate by beating the s*** out of [the victim],'" Abdalla said quoting the second.
I view Steubenville as the Peyton Place of Ohio -- A town that might be pretty on the outside, but keeps getting uglier on the inside.
